About Country Quads.

Kathryn and Mick Moloney launched Country Quads in July 1998 as Leinster's first All Terrain Vehicle enterprise. The project was assisted with grant aid from Agri-Tourism and lots of hard work on the part of Kathryn and Mick.

Country Quads was officially launched by Tom Foley, local trainer of the wonder horse - Danoli, Winner of the Grand National in 1997. Clerical backing was provided by Fr Nicholas Moore, Parish Priest of Borris, who blessed the new machines and wished everyone who journeyed on them a 'safe passage'!

Michael and Kathryn have developed and expanded the Country Quads course over the years with help from Paddy Skelton of Borris.

The course itself is suitable for first-timers with more challenging areas for the more experienced.

A Working Farm

Located in rugged, beautiful countryside on a working farm near Borris in Co Carlow, a day at Country Quads is ideal for family or corporate trips alike.

This very unusual on-farm enterprise operates side by side with the running of an efficient dairy farm together with a successful beef enterprise. Few farmers would undertake such an innovative and exciting venture, but Kathryn and Mick have taken to this new business venture with great enthusiasm and energy.
