Local Attractions

Country Quads are on the borders of counties Carlow (30 mins), Kilkenny City(30 mins), Wexford Town(35 mins) and Waterford City (35 mins).

We have numerous amenities on our doorstep. In the immediate vicinity you can drive the Mount Leinster Way, and the Blackstairs Mountains are a 10 minutes drive from here. The surrounding countryside is the ideal for walking, with walks along the River Barrow ( 2 minutes away) and the South Leinster Way.

There is also golfing nearby, cruises on the Barrow and Brandon Lake Fishing.

Shopping and Entertainment

There are several local craft workers at whose workshops or factories very high quality craftwork can be purchased. These include Duiske Glass, Bernard Kavanagh Pottery and Cushendale Woollen Mills.

We have several excellent restaurants locally which we can recommend. Traditional music can be heard in some of the local pubs on a regular basis.
