Our Quad Bikes

Quad bikes cost around €5,000 each, and Country Quads have 16 currently in operation. Our bigger bikes are 300cc's and we also have 125cc's, 80cc's and 50cc's to cater for all ages and size. 

Safety procedures are of paramount importance for what is a spectacular outdoor pursuit.

The appeal of the Honda Fourtrax 250cc, five-speed quad, is that someone who has never even ridden a bicycle can drive it. You simply turn up and get instruction and a helmet, then you are free, slipping and sliding or simply enjoying the wonderful views.

In the glorious event that is wet and mucky - spinning the wheels in the dips and rises, through the hills and wooded paths and added-value obstacles designed to make the course more challenging. 

Every aspect of customer needs is catered for by Country Quads. There is a practice course to allow beginners to familiarise themselves with the ATVs and each group of six riders on the course is accompanied front and rear by management personnel.

The Course

The course was developed using many of the natural features of the farm. These include hilly terrain and encompass woodland and streams on the course itself. 

The course or track that the individual will take, will be carefully chosen to suit their ability. The tours are led by a fully qualified, experienced guide. After receiving a thorough rundown of the simple controls of the vehicle even complete novices can feel confident with their machine. 

The course is all-weather and in fact the Moloney's philosophy is 'the wetter the better', in terms of the ATV driving thrill. 

It is emphasised by Country Quads that great care is taken with safety precautions. Long trousers and strong shoes are recommended. Helmets are provided, and if necessary all-weather gear. 

Onsite Facilities

There is an impressive clubhouse where participants get kitted out and instructed prior to the one hour long adventure. Special safety helmets are provided, and as it is an all-weather pursuit, riders are advised to dress for a mucky occasion. 

The clubhouse is equipped with showers so that the accumulated muck at the end of the day can all be washed off! Showers and toilets are in place and barbecue facilities are also available.
